«We’re still talking,» he said ahead of his country’s clash with Spain this weekend. «The talks are going well, to be honest. We’re pretty close. There are still a few things we need to sort out. I’m happy here. I think it won’t be long before there’s some kind of announcement.»

This comes after comments from Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen, who said ahead of Bayern’s customary visit to the Oktoberfest, «We’re having productive discussions. Harry will now take the time – those three weeks – and then things should start to wrap up.»
Kane made history as the fastest player to reach 100 Bundesliga goals when he scored twice in Bayern’s 7-0 win over Union Berlin last weekend. The England captain now has 101 goals in 98 Bundesliga appearances for the record champions, plus 53 across 56 outings in other competitions.
Since joining Bayern, Kane has won two Bundesliga titles, the DFB Cup and two Franz Beckenbauer Supercups. He is also the only player to finish as the Bundesliga’s top scorer in each of his first three seasons in Germany, and is among the leading contenders for the 2026 Ballon d’Or.
